Breakfast is the most significant meal of the day – so you have to create it the most enjoyable, right? Right!
I promise you this breakfast bake is really enjoyable – spread some peanut butter on top, with a small amount of cheese or yogurt and you will be starting your time off in heaven.
Apple and Banana Breakfast Bake: serves 6
gluten free, low fat, sugar free
Grease and/or line a medium round cake tin or 8×8″ sq. cake tin. you can additionally use individual ramekins if you like.
Mash your banana and add in your applesauce, milk, vanilla and egg (and sweetener if using).
Stir in your oats, flours, baking powder and baking soda, cinnamon and any extra mix ins.
Pour your mixture into your ready cake tin. top with some additional oats if desired.
Bake for forty five minutes to one hour, counting on the dimensions of your tin – keep an eye on that and take it out of the oven as soon as it is brown on top and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
**If gluten free is not necessary for you, feel free to use one 1/4 cups whole flour or a combination
